Pat Intara

Pat Intara

Grad student

Pat (formerly Pat Little) is a PhD student in psychology interested in cognition, perception, and intuitive physics. Pat is allergic to identifying with any particular hobby or pastime out of fear that a true fan will try to bond over it and then be disappointed.

PhD
Rheza Budiono

Rheza Budiono

Grad student

Rheza is a graduate student in psychology, co-advised with Cate Hartley. He is interested in explanations. How do we explain what happens? How do our explanations influence how we learn from, remember, and feel about what happens?

PhD
Solim LeGris

Solim LeGris

Grad student

Solim is a PhD student in psychology with interest in computational cognitive science. He is co-advised with Brenden Lake.

PhD
Ellen Su

Ellen Su

Grad student

Ellen is a first-year PhD student in the Center for Data Science studying language and decision making in humans and machines. She also really loves to run and read.

Rundong Guo

Rundong Guo

Master student, Data Science

Rundong is a second-year MS in Data Science student at NYU. His background is in Mathematics and Computer Science from UC San Diego, and he previously interned as a Data Scientist at JD.com. He also co-founded an AI SaaS platform focusing on marketing automation for small business.

Jinran Jin

Jinran Jin

Master student, Data Science

Jinran is a second-year Master's student in Data Science at the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences at NYU. He received his BS in Statistics and Data Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He is broadly interested in the intersection of machine learning and cognitive science, particularly in how machines solve reasoning tasks and how this compares to human problem-solving approaches. His current research focuses on comparing the ways machines solve ARC tasks versus humans.
